Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, yesterday, flagged off a N2 billion road project, which will connect Azigbo, Amichi, Osumenyi and Akwa-Ihedi communities in Nnewi South Local Council of the state.
The governor equally extended the contract to Unubi, the council headquarters, to bring the total kilometers of the road to 25.
Flagging off the projects, Obi noted that his administration had continued to blaze the trail in the development of rural communities unlike the practice in other states where only the capital cities were developed.
