knew I was going to live so long I would have taken better care of myself.” Truly, the decisions I have made in the past have made me what I am today. I used to jog and now I have bad knees. Old injuries flare up occasionally and scars remind me of bad decisions of the past. Past eating habits now determine the number and type of pills I must take.
As our lives are a composite of our decisions, so are our gardens. Good gardens are made of good decisions. One of the good things about starting a new gardening year is that we get to make some decisions all over again. Maybe we will get it right this time.
